Assembly drawing (preferred PDF format). The assembly drawing should contain a graphic image of the board with the mounted elements, information about the polarity of the polar elements and indication of the orientation (the position of the first output) of the microcircuits. The item designations in the assembly drawing must conform to the specification and the reference designations in the Peak-and-Place file.
If the installation is carried out from two sides, then an assembly drawing is required for each side.
Specification (preferred Excel format). The components that are specified in the specification and of that type and denomination, regardless of what is indicated in the CAD files, will be mounted on the board. If other types of components can be provided for installation, then specify their types as a possible replacement.
Each line of the specification must contain the following information:
- list of the reference designations of the same components;
- type of components, including denomination;
- description or comment;
- type of shell;
- number of components.
The valid file formats are CSV or XLS. The files must contain at least 6 columns: a reference designation, an element type (including the nominal value), X is the coordinate of the center of the element, the Y-coordinate of the element's center, the angle of rotation, the mounting side. In addition to the list of elements, there must be lines with the coordinates of the reference points, also indicating the side of the installation. There must be at least two reference points for each side of the installation. When using the CSV format, the column separators must differ from the separators of the integer and fractional part of the coordinates, and also do not have any other matches in the contents of the columns.
Gerber files (GBR or CAM350) for solder paste application for each side of SMD-mounting (TopPaste.gbr, BottPaste.gbr). The files are necessary for the development of stencils for the application of solder paste.
It's better if you give us the CAD-file (PCAD or Altium) of the board, and we will create the necessary files ourselves. If you want to do it yourself, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the requirements for the construction of stencils in the standard IPC-7525A. In the case of a panel card, you need the panel files (rather than for a single board) or the exact paneling data: the number of rows, columns, the exact repetition step in the rows and columns, the orientation of the board in the panel.
For the calculation of the installation, archive all the necessary documentation and attach the archive to the feedback form. We will study the project and get back to you!
